USPHL Prep Camp Announced

The San Diego Sabers have announced their upcoming USPHL Prep Camp on the weekend of August 6th and 7th. The camp is geared towards players interested in pursuing Junior A hockey opportunities. This USPHL Prep Camp will serve as a valuable tool for athletes looking to prepare for the upcoming 2022 - 2023 season. 

Registration is open to all players born from 2002 to 2007.

Prep Camp Program

The upcoming San Diego Sabers USPHL Prep Camp will include one (1) game per player at Icetown Carlsbad on Saturday, August 6, 2022, followed by a facility tour including the Sabers locker room. Afterward, participants will meet at Resilient Strength and Conditioning for dryland testing led by the Sabers certified Strength Coach Scott Hansen. Saturday will conclude with an informational session about the USPHL  led by Sabers GM Domenick DiCicco and about a player advancement led by San Diego State College Team Head Coach Phil Bateman.

Sunday, August 7, 2022, is an action-packed day at Icetown Carlsbad with two (2) games per player in the morning followed immediately by a skating and shooting treadmill introduction led by former Sabers player and a present NCAA player Matthew Berezowski.  The camp will conclude with an introduction to the InStat analytical zoom session.

The goaltending coach will participate at all of the games and will give a verbal evaluation to all goalies present.
