Sabers Fall Short Against Ontario Jr Reign in second exhibition game

The San Diego Sabers faced the Ontario Jr Reign for the second time during their exhibition game at the Carlsbad Icetown. Unfortunately, the Sabers were unable to secure a win, falling to the Jr Reign with a final score of 8-2.

The first period started with a burst of energy from Ontario Jr Reign as they quickly established their dominance. Julian, Fiolleau, and Lai all found the back of the net within the first 13 minutes, leaving the Sabers playing catch-up early in the game. Penalties flew fast and furious, with multiple players from both sides engaging in rough play, reflecting the intensity of the match.

In the second period, Ontario Jr Reign continued to press their advantage, with Flota extending their lead to 4-0. The Sabers finally got on the scoreboard with goals from Litzinger and Gouin, showing moments of resilience. However, Ontario responded swiftly with goals from Doyle and Julian, maintaining their lead at 6-2.
