Sabers Captain Lucas Lundy Commits to ASU

by Tomas Kapusta

Congratulations to Sabers Captain Lucas Lundy who committed to Arizona State University this week!

Lucas was a large part of the Sabers’ success this last season playing in 41 games with 15 goals and 31 assists, tying him with the Sabers’ most points by a defenseman at 46. He was named Player of the Week and Month multiple times in the USPHL Pacific Division.

“This past season, Lucas was undoubtedly an excellent player for us,” said General Manager Domenick DiCicco. “Being a veteran of the BCHL when he joined the team and being one of the best defensemen in his division helped him establish himself as a leader. Lucas has an excellent skating ability and exceptional poise with the puck. I'm happy for him and I can't wait to watch what he accomplishes at ASU.”
