Renden named Pacific Division Goalie of the Week

Congratulations to Sabers goalie Herman Renden on being voted the USPHL Goalie of the Week in the Pacific Division! 

Grace Mello of the United States Premier Hockey League writes, “Renden (‘03/Norway) earned the first win for the Sabers in the New Year in a 7-1 victory over the Long Beach Shredders. He finished the game with 23 saves on 24 shots and currently has a .934 save percentage this season with 199 saves on 213 shots.” 

Catch Herman and the Sabers this weekend at Icetown Carlsbad as they take on the Bakersfield Roughnecks! The three-game home stand begins today Friday, Jan. 13 at 1:30 PM.
