Oscar Sjöstedt signed with pro team in Sweden

The San Diego Sabers are proud to announce that 2001-born forward Oscar Sjöstedt has signed pro and will be competing for Falu Ishockeyförening (Falu IF) in Sweden this upcoming season. 

The Swedish native joined the Sabers during the second half of the 2021 - 2022 season. While with the Sabers, Oscar obtained four goals and fifteen assists in only thirteen games played.

"Oscar is an upstanding young man and an athlete who I feel is just now discovering his full potential," said General Manager Domenick DiCicco. "We expect he'll achieve great success with Falu IF this upcoming season and will continue to follow his journey."
