Nilsson and Plars named to All-Star Team

San Diego, CA -  The San Diego Sabers completed four games at the 2022 USPHL Winter Showcase at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Two Sabers were named to the Dan K Show Pacific Divison Premier All-Star Team!

Ludvig Nilsson and Filip Plars were named to the All-Star team following their performances at the Showcase.

Nilsson tallied 2 assists in four games. The Swedish native is 2nd on the Sabers in scoring for the season. The 5'11" defenceman has scored 25 points in 21 games this season. 

Plars went 1-1 in the net at the showcase. The goalie achieved a 4.0 GAA in the opening game of the showcase, helping the Sabers to a 6-4 win over the Advantage. The Swedish native has 9 wins in 17 games played so far this season with an SV% 0.891.
