Nevio D'Alessandro has committed to the Drayton Valley Thunder

Congratulations to Sabers defenseman Nevio D'Alessandro who has committed to the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Nevio was an instrumental part of the Sabers’ success this last season having played in 45 games with 10 goals and 38 assists. Nevio was also awarded the USPHL Pacific Division Player of the Month and Player of the Week multiple times throughout the season.

"Nevio entered this year intending to advance his career to a higher level of junior hockey and did just that," said Sabers Head Coach Tyler Casillo. "Nevio has been a leader, both on and off the ice, for the entire season. I can't wait to watch him develop as a player. The Drayton Valley Thunder are getting a fantastic player and teammate."

If you're interested in joining the San Diego Sabers, the upcoming 2023 NCDC Camp held April 14-16 is an excellent opportunity to get ahead of the competition. The camp will feature a skills workshop, beach workouts, strength evaluations, and three guaranteed games. Coaches from P.A.L. Junior Islanders, Harvard Men's Hockey, and San Diego State Hockey will be in attendance.
