SABERS NOTES:

The Sabers are ready to bounce back and get back to winning this weekend as they return to the ice twenty days after their last game, which they lost. Sixteen players have recorded a point or more in nine games, helping the Sabers to second place in the Pacific. Only twice have they let up more than three goals while playing well on both sides of the ice.

LAKERS NOTES:

The Lakers look to reverse a very disappointing start to their season as they are currently in last place in the Pacific. The Lakers have nine players with a goal this season and an additional six with a point however scoring has been an issue as they have only scored over four goals once all season.

WHO TO WATCH:

Mario Paganini and Michal Novak are in a race for the top points scorer for the Sabers as both have recorded 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points a piece. These two lead the team in points and have shown that they are not afraid to score.

For the Lakers, Chase Sechrist and Brendan Johnson have been on a tear this season. Sechrist has 7 goals and 8 assists in ten games this year for an average of 1.5 points per game while Johnson has recorded 4 goals and 5 assists in six games for another 1.5 points per game.
