Former Jr Condor, Josiah Friedenberg, enters his first year in the USPHL

by San Diego Sabers

Josiah Friedenberg, a former forward for the Bakersfield Jr Condors and Fresno Jr Monsters, is moving to San Diego for the upcoming 2022–2023 USPHL season.

"I'm very excited for the opportunity to start my junior career this season and enhance my level of play," Josiah said. “I'm looking forward to playing with a competitive bunch and look forward to winning games this season under Coach Casillo”

Josiah is a duel athlete having played baseball for Reedley High School while also playing hockey. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that he performed admirably at the recent Sabers USPHL Prep Camp at Icetown Carlsbad.

Coach Casillo said “Josiah brings a good dynamic to our club. He is a dual sport, multi-positional player. He has experience playing both Forward and defense. Josiah plays a true 200-foot game, no matter where he is lining up. I look forward to watching Josiah compete and impact games”
