Sabers Notes:

The Sabers are coming off of a 3-game losing streak in Fresno however they remain in the race for first in the Pacific. At 25 points, they are currently 4th place in a tight race but that can change this weekend. The Sabers have been having a great season and this is a perfect weekend to get back on track.

Roughnecks Notes:

Despite a losing record, the Roughnecks are coming off of a sweep in Lake Tahoe. They enter this weekend with 12 points however they look at this as a great opportunity to continue the momentum with lots of hockey left in the season. The Roughnecks are eager to turn their season around.

Who To Watch:

For the Sabers, Michal Novak and Mario Paganini are the players to watch for. Novak currently leads the team with 13 assists and 16 goals with an average of 1.61 points per game. Paganini follows closely behind with 13 assists and 14 goals with a higher average of 1.69 points per game as he has played in 2 fewer games. They look to lead the Sabers back into the win column.

For the Roughnecks, Robin Benoit and Émile Rodrigue are the two players to watch for. Benoit stands alone as the only player on the team averaging over 1 point per game with 12 assists and 11 goals. Rodrigue is very close as he has 5 assists and 8 goals for .87 points per game.
